What you’re agreeing to

These terms cover use of Manila by account holders (the freelancers and businesses who build and send requests) and, where relevant, by the clients who submit information through a request link. Using the product means accepting these terms.

Your account

You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. One account is meant for one person or business — don’t share login credentials.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Manila to:

• Request or collect information you don’t have a lawful basis to ask for.
• Send request links for phishing, spam, or any deceptive purpose.
• Upload or request files that are illegal to possess or distribute.
• Attempt to access another account holder’s requests, files, or client data.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any account found doing the above.

What you’re responsible for

Manila is a tool for building and sending requests — it does not review or approve what you ask your clients for. You’re solely responsible for the content of your requests, for having any consent or legal basis required to collect that information, and for how you use whatever your clients submit back to you.

Plans and pricing

The free plan is limited to a small number of active requests at a time. Paid plans — Starter, Pro, and Custom — are described on the pricing section of the homepage, but aren’t yet available to purchase; billing terms will be added here once checkout launches.

Availability

Manila is an early-stage product built and operated by one person. It’s provided on an “as is” basis with no uptime guarantee at this stage. We’ll do our best to keep it running and to communicate any planned downtime, but we can’t promise a formal service level.

Termination

You can stop using Manila and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate an account for violating these terms, with notice where practical.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Manila is provided without warranties of any kind, and we’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including loss of data. Given the early stage of the product, keep independent copies of anything critical.

Changes to these terms

These terms will change as the product does. Material changes will be reflected on this page; there is no separate notification mechanism yet.
